attune for retail
Extending the industry-standard SAP AFS platform into a comprehensive retail solution, attune for retail introduces new functional areas to the application, while elevating the performance of others as well.
SAP Merchandise & Assortment (MAP) Integration
A powerful, business-proven strategic planning tool. The AFS interface provides master data synchronization and the retraction of planning results for operational purposes.
Retail Allocation Tool
This operational planning tool determines the optimal inventory level by store/SKU based on historical or planning figures. It supports initial distribution and replenishment of fashion and basic items.
Supply Chain Data Management Tool
The capability to take individual store demand, releasing it into at-once distribution orders to be executed by the DC, or as future bulks to feed the consolidated buying process. The origininal store split is retained for reference at the time of merchandise receipt. Can be fed by Retail Allocation, SAP MAP or external sources like Microsoft Excel™.
SAP Store Master Integration
Designed to support retail processes, while assuring full integration into SAP AFS logistics and finance processes. Supports different business models (e.g. owner-operated, franchisee) and their different requirements within the business process. For owner-operated store business, the store master enables the linking and synchronization of customer, cost center and profit center information to support full store financials. Store master data maintenance is done with an easy-to-use transaction in attune for retail.
SAP POS DM Integration
Enables transactional level data to be taken in from any kind of POS system, for storage into a BI-based data mart. Sales Audit is performed before AFS-specific aggregations to feed relevant data back into AFS. attune for retail supports the feed of AFS master data into BI to support Sales Audit functionality.
Store Transaction Engine
Sends aggregated store transaction data back into AFS for processing. A minimum level of information is sufficient, which is enriched by a rule-based mechanism, and posted for sales, inventory and finance recognition. The enrichment ruleset considers different store types, as well as varied business transactions and organizational dependencies.
