Master Data Accelerator (MDA)

Overview
The MDA offers the ability to use preconfigured rules to transform available raw data to SAP-ready master data. Rules needed to create materials, grids, info records and source lists are defined at the outset - and accessed by the system as required. The usual repetitive process of defining rules for each and every aspect of master data is eliminated.

Legacy System Connect
Users can upload bulk data from a legacy system file in MDA, and manipulate mass data using its robust features, to create SAP AFS master data quickly and conveniently.

Data Maintenance & Validation
Via a user-friendly interface with a spreadsheet look-and-feel, the data maintenance section applies predefined configuration rules to pre-validate the master data. Errors are spotted well in advance before the upload process begins.

Secure Release Procedure
No data can be uploaded to the SAP AFS application unless an authorized person has validated and approved the data.

Data Validation Report
Stringent approval and release process: The selection screen enables the user to generate the list based on specific parameters.

Setup and Configuration
Various configuration rules, based on material type, season, attributes, etc. - can be defined and applied to many records simultaneously. User roles can also be assigned to restrict access to specific field and prevent unauthorized data creation.
